Stuart Broad announces he will retire from cricket at the end of the ongoing fifth #Ashes Test.

Stuart Broad made his debut in international cricket in a T20 match against Pakistan in 2006.

Stuart Broad, 37, is England's second-highest test wicket-taker with 602 victims in 167 matches, behind only his long-time team mate James Anderson who has 690.

The pair of James Anderson and Stuart Broad is one of the four bowling pairs to take over 500 wickets in test cricket.

The year 2013 was probably the best year of Braod’s test career. He took 62 wickets (most by any bowler) in 14 matches, including 5 fifers.

Stuart Broad’s jersey number is 8

After serving the English team for long 16 years, Broad bid adieu to international cricket at the end of Ashes 2023 in July with 602 test wickets in his name.
